What is the Reason for Bone Loss?

Bones are the structural components of our body, and along with this, they perform several functions as well. Bones are also known as a storehouse of calcium and serve as protective structures for vital organs. Thus, maintaining strong & healthy bones should be the priority. As we age, our bones start to become weak as they lose calcium and other minerals. Bone loss that occurs due to aging is normal and if it is controlled, it is not known to cause many complications. If the bone loss occurs at a rapid rate, the chance of fracture becomes high, and that too without any reason. To fix such conditions orthopedic implants like variable angle plates may be required.
